CAST IRON HOUSE

The spectacular Cast Iron House
is a new condominium project in Tribeca, New York. Located at 67
Franklin Street, the breathtaking restoration was designed by acclaimed
Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, and comprises 11 duplex residences and
two mind-blowing twin duplex penthouses atop the 132-year-old cast-iron
beauty in Tribeca. Each residence stands alone as a singular creation by
Ban, all of which have cathedral-style double-height ceilings and
private elevator entry, as for the penthouses, one will have 4 bedrooms
and total 3,800 sf, while the other will have 5 bedrooms and 4,560 sf.
Both have glass walls that can be completely opened, creating an
uninterrupted expanse between the interiors and the surrounding
terraces, and making them appear from street level as though they are
floating above the building.
